United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) is a leading provider of financial products and services to corporations, SMB's, and consumers in the Philippines. Established in 1963 as a commercial bank, UCPB grew to become the first private Philippine universal bank in 1981, enabling it to invest in non-allied businesses. With assets close to P 114 billion, UCPB ranks as one of the big financial institution in the country.
Customers who make purchases from Dragonpay-accredited merchants can pay through any UCPB branch nationwide even if they do not maintain an account with the bank. They just need to fill-up a deposit slip and validate their payment online.
UCPB has more than 180 branches nationwide. UCPB charges a handling fee for cash deposits made to its branches outside of Metro Manila for the second transaction of the day onwards. For the first transaction of the day, there should be no handling fee. There should be no surcharges for deposits within Metro Manila.
