BDO Retail Internet Banking Now Supported

BDO Retail Internet Banking (RIB) is the name of the Internet banking facility of Banco de Oro (BDO). Although BDO has one of the biggest depositor base, it has still has a relatively small user base for the Internet banking since they are a late-comer in the field.

BDO RIB will not win aesthetic design awards anytime soon, but its functional. It is also one of the most stable and has one of the highest uptime among the local Internet banking services. It has a complete range of features from basic balance inquiry to bills payment and fund transfers. BDO RIB is available for free to all regular, individual BDO account holders. It is not available, as of this writing, to BDO Cash Card users.

In addition to BDO Over-the-Counter payments, Dragonpay now supports RIB for online payments to Dragonpay or Mozcom PayEasy e-commerce merchants. To use Dragonpay with RIB, a one-time registration is necessary. Because of BDO's backlog, processing of registration can take up to 5 business days -- by far one of the slowest among local banks. We recommend that you register even if you do not have an immediate purchase requirement because of the delay.
